DRAMA PRODUCTION: The drama department will be performing “Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” at 7pm in the gym on both May 19th and May 20th. There is no cost for the performances so come on out and enjoy the show! Doors open at 6:30
Due to a lack of substitute bus drivers the Snowden/Bluebird and the Mt. Brook/Bear bus routes will be combined. This notice is for Friday, 5-19-23. Please call the transportation department at 509-493-1590 for PM drop off times. There will be no one in the office after 2:30 so please call early. Drop off times are approximate. The 2nd Annual WSVSD Arts Walk will be this Saturday, May 20, from 11-3. The event takes place from the Whitson Gym to the Multi-purpose Facility. We will be showcasing student artwork from each school in the district, with performances from CHS students.

The Klickitat County Sheriff's Office has determined that there is no active threat and have cleared all buildings. We will come out of lockdown at this time and buses will begin running their afternoon routes.

White Salmon Valley School District
There has been a credible threat called in to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office of a potential active shooter in the White Salmon Valley School District. All schools in the District are now in lockdown and will remain in lockdown until law enforcement ends the lockdown. There are deputies on site and we are in communication with the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office.
Buses will run when we are released from lockdown. Students can not be picked up, the entrances are blocked by law enforcement. An update will be sent as soon as possible.
