Congratulations, White Salmon Valley School District has been identified as a National Board Accomplished District!
In 2019, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards launched its National Board Accomplished District program to recognize the role districts play in ensuring that every student has an accomplished teacher every day. We are pleased to let you know that as part of this program, 79 districts will be recognized including White Salmon Valley School District. This recognition is based on NBCT self-reported data showing that at least 20% of teachers in the district are Board-certified.
We will be celebrating all National Board Accomplished Districts on our website and through our social media channels on June 10.
