Family Update: Columbia High School In-Person Learning

February 17, 2021

 WSVSD Family Update

Klickitat County remains in a moderate level and the number of cases have continued to drop below 200 per 100,000. This is the threshold the district needed to meet in order to bring the high school students back for in-person learning, as defined in the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) “Tools to Prepare for Provision of In-Person Learning among K-12 Students at Public and Private Schools during the COVID-19 Pandemic.”

This means that the district will move to the next in-person phase for Columbia High School.

  • Group A (Monday-Tuesday) is scheduled for February 22-23
  • Group B (Wednesday-Thursday) is scheduled for February 24-25

Please contact your school with any questions you may have. We also understand that not all families will feel comfortable beginning in-person learning, so we will still offer a remote learning option.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jerry Lewis, Superintendent
