Spread The Word: WAVE Scholarship Still Accepting Applications
The Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship is for outstanding high school, and community and technical college students studying career and technical education (CTE).
The WAVE program will select up to 147 scholarship recipients across Washington—three from each legislative district. We are encouraging as many applicants as possible in hopes good candidates don’t miss this great opportunity.
The award covers:
- Up to two years of tuition (amount varies by institution).
- Minimum award: $4,500 per year.
- Maximum award: $11,700 per year.
Act now! The deadline to apply for the 2023-24 school year is March 17, 2023. Spread the word about the WAVE scholarship to your CTE students. Get them started by directing them to the CTE educator certification form.
